2HJ 2020 - 2021

Miss Jones

Welcome to 2HJ,

I hope you have all enjoyed your first few days of Year 2 and enjoyed being back together with your friends. I am really enjoying getting to know you all and teaching you.

Please can all children bring their own water bottle, which can be kept at their table during the day and refilled by an adult if needed.

Reading books - we are currently assessing the children's reading levels and will give books out ASAP.  Children all have access to Reading Eggs and are encouraged to use the app as much as possible.

Homework - will be given out on Fridays and to be returned by the following Thursday. Children will be given spellings, maths and literacy to complete alongside their regular reading.

PE will be every Monday, weather permitting.  We are asking children to come PE ready for outdoor sports so please ensure they are warm (no football kits). Children will not be getting changed in school.

I have attached this half terms newsletter below and sent home all the knowledge organisers for this half terms topics for you to share and read.  If you have any further questions please ask at the end of the day (personally or by phone) or write a note.

I'm really excited to spend this year with you all, watching you grow and develop.  I hope we all have a wonderful time.
