Welcome to 5JM! 

Hello 5JM! Welcome to Year 5! I hope you all have had a very nice summer and are excited to start Year 5! I am looking forward to seeing you all again. 

Our TAs in class will be: Mrs McHugh and Mrs Lloyd. 

Homework will be handed out on a Thursday and due back the following Tuesday. If your child is finding the homework difficult, please ask them to speak to myself, Mrs McHugh or Mrs Lloyd before it is due in so they can get support with it. There will be a homework club taking place on Thursdays after school which your child can attend (letters will be sent out next week). 

PE will be every Friday afternoon (starting on 17th September). Your child can come into school in their PE kits. 

Topics we will be covering this half term are: The Tudors, Rivers, Earth and Space and Buddhism.
