Tuesday 30th March

To parents and carers,

your child will be bringing home their school report today.  We are very proud of all of their hard work since returning and how quickly they have got back into the swing of things.  Their assessments were done last week and will be used to spot any gaps in our learning.  Please do not be concerned if your child is not at the same level they were before the school closures. We have got lots of interventions and catch up programmes in place and will work through any gaps with your child.

we hope you have a wonderful Easter.

All the best,

Mrs Campbell and Mrs Ackerley

Monday 8th March

Welcome back 6AC.   We are really excited to welcome you all back to  school.  We have missed seeing your faces every day.  Nothing much has changed at school since December and it will all feel very normal and familiar as soon as you return.  We just wanted to give you some more information before you return and hopefully answer any questions that you might have.

Timetable

Monday - PE so please come to school dressed in your PE kit.

Harry Potter club for those that signed up for it.

Tuesday - school uniform.

Wednesday  - school uniform

Thursday - school uniform

Friday - forest school clothes

Here is some information for you all to read before you come back to school.

When you come to school, you need to come to the normal entrance and get ready for your temperature check.

You need to bring a bottle of water with you (no juice or fizzy drinks) but please don't bring any other personal items from home.

You don't need to wear a mask unless you want to.

The classroom will look the same and you will still have a table partner although this has probably changed since before Christmas.  We will be keeping everyone safe with windows open, to let lots of fresh air in,  and regularly washing our hands.

We know that lots of you will be feeling mixed emotions about returning to school but please don't worry about anything.  We will be there to welcome you back and everything will feel safe and normal as soon as you arrive.

Here are our topics for this half term:

History:       World War 1

Geography:   Europe

Science:       Electricity

RE:              Christianity.

MFL:            French

We can't wait to see you on Monday.

All the best,

Mrs Campbell and Mrs Ackerley
