Ofsted/CQC SEND Assurance Visit 23rd/24th March - Links to Survey now live

Manchester City Council are having a visit from Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission to look at how Manchester has supported children and young people with Special Educational Needs and their families during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ofsted and CQC would really like to hear your views.

The aims of the SEND interim visits are

-to understand the impact of the pandemic on children and young people with SEND and their families

-to find out what has worked well for them during this time, what the challenges have been and lessons learned.

-work within the Local Area to identify opportunities for improvement that address the challenges faced by children and young people with SEND

-highlight best practice case studies and share insights nationally.
