Yoga

At NGPS we know how important health and mental wellbeing are. So that we can learn all about taking time out; breathing well; slowing down when our minds feel ‘busy’ and when our bodies need a good stretch out - we practise our Yoga. 
 
Yoga is amazing for so many things:

  • Helping us to feel good about ourselves
  • Helping us to feel positive
  • Teaching us to listen to our bodies
  • Teaching us to slow down
  • Reminding us to breathe properly
  • Stretching and strengthening our bodies
  • Helping us with our Peace Mala Objectives
  • Challenging us!
  • Giving us a safe space
  • Giving us a calm space
  • Giving us a place to ‘grow’
We offer Yoga Clubs and Yoga as part of our teaching to help to improve wellbeing for both our pupils and staff.
