School Meals
Our school lunches are popular, nutritious and offer a wide variety of appetising choices. All meals meet the latest government standards set by the Department for Education, ensuring that children receive well-balanced, healthy meals each day.
If your child would like to have a school meal, please read the information below:
Free School Meals
Your child may be entitled to free school meals. To check eligibility or apply, please contact the school office for advice.
You may qualify if you receive one of the following benefits:

Universal Credit (with a household income of £7,400 or less per year, after tax and not including benefits)

Income Support
-
Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
-
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

The guaranteed element of Pension Credit

Paying for School Meals
If your child is not eligible for free school meals, meals must be paid for in advance via ParentPay.

Meals currently cost £2.50 per day (£12.50 per week) (please note this may be subject to change).

Payments should be made by Monday for the week in which meals are taken.

Your ParentPay account must be in credit for your child to receive a school meal.

Universal Infant Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal under the Government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.
Parents and carers of Nursery and Key Stage 2 pupils can pay daily or weekly using ParentPay’s cashless system.
Please note, from September 2026, all families on Universal Credit will qualify.
