Home Reading Books
All children took home a folder containing a reading book and a planner on Monday!
Please could parents / carers aim to read the book with your child, encouraging them to use their knowledge of phonics and tricky words (words which can't be sounded out) and return it to school on Friday. In Year 1, we recommend your child reads for at least 10 minutes a day.
New reading books will be sent home with your child each Friday.
Please continue to use the planners to note down when your child has read and to also communicate any non-urgent messages with us.
