The Government is investing £289m nationally into expanding Wrap Around Childcare for working families of primary aged children. Manchester has received funding to expand and establish provision from September 2024, where it is identified as required. In order to do so, Children and Education Services need to establish a clear baseline of what exists and where in the City and whether this is meeting the current and future needs of working families.
