School Performance 2024-2026

Newall Green Primary operates in an exceptionally high-disadvantage context, with approximately 69% of pupils eligible for free school meals, alongside significantly above-average levels of SEND, EHCPs and pupil mobility. As a result, headline attainment data should be interpreted within the context of the school's unique cohort profile. Comparisons with national averages, whilst important, are not always like-for-like and do not fully reflect the complexity of the community served or the breadth of the school's inclusive provision. Parents, governors, inspectors and other stakeholders are therefore encouraged to consider attainment data alongside progress measures, pupil characteristics and the school's wider impact on improving outcomes for vulnerable pupils.
