Big Birdwatch January 2023

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: 1TB Year: 2022 - 2023

In January our pupils took part in the RSPB Big Birdwatch. We learnt more about the bird species that visit our school grounds by taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch. Birdwatching is a relaxing and fascinating activity for all ages to enjoy and is a great way to get children interested in wildlife. By taking the time to monitor and record our garden birds, we are playing an important role in helping conservationists build a valuable picture of how each species is faring and form a plan action to help our native bird species.
